I have a PIONEER Model DV 250
MP3 TruSurround. The plugs are located on the back of the unit Black-Green-Blue-White top row and bottom row Yellow -Red-Red

It depends on what inputs are available on your TV.
Here are the options listed in order of increasing quality...

OK:
Use the yellow jack (composite video) for video
Use the white and red jacks on the far right for audio

Good:
Use the black on the bottom left (S-video) for video
Use the white and red jacks on the far right for audio

Best:
Use the Green, Blue, and Red jack on the left (Y Pb Pr component video) for video
Use the black jack in the top row or the jack in the bottom left corner (S/PDIF or optical digital audio) for audio

If your TV doesn't have these jacks, you may need to purchase a video switchbox or RF Modulator to convert a cable jack to a yellow composite video with red & white audio jacks.

match the colors to your tv yellow,red and white.

the yellow is the video cable. This all I know for sure.
