I think it's a clever combination of the two names.
What does your last name have to do with it? Just curious.

It does sound cool. But try to picture him as Jett the boy, Jett in highschool, Jett as a young man, Jett as an older man... what I'm trying to get at is he has to live with the name his whole life. I'm not sure if I would take 'Jett the Businessman' very seriously.

That being said, people are naming there children so many unusual things these days, that I doubt in 20 years time 'Jett' will raise any eyebrows.

Whatever you decide, congratulations and good luck :-)

I think the combo of Jett Winkler is a little funny, but Jett would be a fantastic middle name (like Jackson Jett Winkler). If he ends up being very quiet or laid back, a racy name like Jett might be hard for him to relate to.

no longer keen for it- that's ok for a infant, yet does not age properly and is not any longer expert. i'd be liable to offer him a traditonal J names, like James, John, Joseph, Jonah, and make Jett his nickname. Or a center call, for use on an common basis. Then whilst he's older, he has ideas that would healthy him extra beneficial.

I think "Jett" ROCKS for a name. I guess it also depends on how the combo of "Jett" and your last name, sounds.
