my period went away 4 days ago and i got off the pill 3 days ago. now i am bleeding. i heard that 1 it could be a miscarriage or that i could be pregnant. has anyone been through this after getting off the pill. i mean i bleeding very strong.

With a traditional oral contraceptive, (three weeks of "active" pills followed by one week of "inactive" pills), your period occurs during the week that the "inactive" pills are being taken.
However, the "period" one experiences while on oral contraceptives has nothing to do with menstruation at all. Bleeding only occurs because of the withdrawl from the synthetic horomones. As a matter of fact, if you skip the "inactive" pills altogether, and start right in on a new pack, you'll miss your period altogether. That's because you're not actually menstruating, you're experiencing withdrawl bleeding.
Anyway, what I'm getting at, is that what you're experiencing may simply be your body's way of handling the fact that it's no longer receiving synthetic hormones every day. It could take a few months before your periods become regular again.

Actually yes I have. Not to worry you, but My period ended and about 5 days later I had it again. I got off the pill and then it began 5 days after that. I saw the doctor and he told me there was nothing to worry about it happens to alot of women. Then I got a 3rd one at the end of the month and found out my huiusband and I were pregnant. I'd wait it out til the end of the month and take a test.
