Talk to each other. Listen to each other. Spend time alone, with just each other. Schedule this time, and keep it, like it was an appointment.
Touch, throughout the day, in affectionate, but non-sexual ways. Hold hands.
Respect each other. Dress up for each other, like you were still dating.
CHOOSE your battles. Let stuff go.
Make love frequently (even if one of you may not particularly feel like it).
Focus on your partner (BOTH of you!) not yourself.
Support each other. Present a united front to the world. Turn TO each other not ON each other.
I am forced to agree with the poster immediately below me! ;-))

Just, maybe when he goes to work, you can prepare a very romantic dinner, eventually he'll want to have sex and then that's when love starts, do this every so often, as much as you like, to show him you really care and that you love him...just a suggestion...

Being married myself, you have to learn to make quality time for each other first of all. Then once you have it, plan a nice picnic, go out to dinner and wine and dine your spouse. Be spontaneous and uninhibited with love-making. Role-play. Be daring and risk- taking. Do what you have to do. Because if you dont do it, another woman will and gladly at that.

I've been married for 20 years. We go out for dinner about once a month. Once you have kids, every day is kinda new anyway...so I suppose our kids keep our marriage alive.

Yes. You can add fun, children, common interests, commitment and if you want the single most important element, God.
