I need to know if iPod Nanos can play music downloaded from other places other than iTunes, as some of my music is mp3s downloaded off of Limewire.

Any ipod can download from limewire.
All you do is just transfer the music from limewire into itunes, which they should automatically if itunes if its your main music player on your computer

I do not know about Limewire, but I use RealPlayer to upload all my music thats on my puter to my nano. They will convert your music to the best format for it.

If it's mp3 and you add it to your itunes library it will play on the ipod.

yes............ just put the music you downloaded from limewire onto itunes.
