It is pretty clear that going to war and killing people is only going to breed more hate and terrorism. I don't think anyone who gave it any thought at all thinks that going to war is going to stop terrorism or terrorist attacks. The only way that you are going to stop terrorist attacks is good foreign policy and better surveillance.

No. He has never been a good political leader and doesn't know how to do anything with diplomacy which is what you need when dealing with other countries and their governments. We cannot make "little Americans" out of 3rd world countries and we should not even try. Our politics is what has made us hated in the first place not our "freedoms" as Bush stated in his lie-filled speech before we invaded Iraq. The "war on terror" will never be won. You cannot kill ideas. You cannot stop someone who wants to plant a bomb on themselves and walk into a crowd of people and blow up. Bush is playing with the minds of Americans every time he uses that phrase and we should be insulted and pissed off!

Nope we ARE NOT safe from terror. Bush has been proved to raise the threat of terrorism in the world. His threats to North Korea forced them to show him that they are not afraid. We should be afraid, VERY afraid. We may not get a chance to vote for a successor to BUSH. :-(

I think it is safer, but I don't think our course of action was the best for promoting safety in the world. I'm glad that you picked the word that Bush should have been using.... instead of the fear-driven terrorist word to do what he pleased.

Well there must be some life left in that horse. I think our president has helped in some ways to keep us safer,but really nobody can stop someone who is hell bent on killing people.
