I am going to get a video card for my birthday, but I don't know which brand I should buy. What do you recommend and which store should I buy it from? What store should I buy RAM at also? Thanks!!!!!

Buy it online at www.newegg.com or www.tigerdirect.com, don't buy it in a land based store they overcharge. As for brand, not really a big deal since they all use the same chips from either nVidia or ATI. As for a specific card that is a bit too complex and I would need to know what type of system you have and what your budget is. You can email me of course if you want more help.

I use a WinFast 6600GT and it is so far the most stable, and overclock friendly card I have ever used. Not cheap though at just over AU$200 and that is wholesale price. If you look around your local area you will find a wholesale outlet somewhere.
