Ok a friend of mine lent me his Ipod 30gig 5th gen. ipod to put some of my videos on it but problem is...if I update the ipod...it will add all my music to his ipod...how do I get it to where I only add certain stuff to his ipod and take some stuff off his and put it into my ipod 60gig 5th gen.?

First, change your setting so it doesn't automatically update when you connect the iPod. Then connect the iPod and sync (drag) only the items you want into the iPod.

To change the setting in the current version of iTunes (7.0.1.8 - if you don't have it, get it, it's very different), connect your iPod. The summary screen should come up. Check "Manually manage music and video." Click apply.
