In the beginning it asks you if you want to use your avatar, no picture, or your own picture. Alright if you press your own photo then it will ask to browse your picture folder that is on your computer.

First of all, you have to have yahoo 360 and your pic on that site.
Go to "My Q&A" on yahoo answers, click on "edit my info", change picture choice to "Use my Yahoo! 360 picture", save your changes.

You put your picture in Yahoo messanger, then same picture will be displayed

you have to go to ur options page.. but i think u should keep ur avatar .. cuz everyone has it on..
