Yes because sometimes teenagers like myself need someone that they can love outside their home and at the same time chill at high school or other places with (but that's only if u can still concentrate on their school work)

Statistically, among young people who are allowed to date starting at age 12, 80%-90% are sexually active by the time they reach age 18. If they are not allowed to date until 16, only 10% are sexually active by the time they reach 18. The greater number of years you leave young people, who have young minds but adult bodies, at the mercy of their hormones, the more likely they are to mess up by messing around! It is not to your benefit, during these challenging formative years of your life, to log a lot of hours alone with the opposite sex, playing at being an adult. Dating is a tool for adults to use, so that they can shop for a spouse. A lot of dating for an adult is a good thing, so you can really see all your options and not just 'settle' too soon. So, starting between 16 and 18 is not a bad idea if you are a mature and responsible teen. But, dating at a young age, just for fun, is a pretty risky way to have fun.

That's not an easy question to answer. Some folks are immature for their age and some people are older than their years. It wouldn't be appropriate to say something like "all sixteen year olds should be able to go on unsupervised dates."
If you want to go out, sit down with your parents and have a talk with them. Tell them what you think you should be allowed to do and why. Listen to them when they tell you their concerns and worries for you. Be willing to compromise with them. For instance, if they say yes you can go out, but they want you home earlier than your friends have to come home, go along with it. Once you've proved you're trustworthy, then you can push for curfew extension.

I say it depends on you and if you feel ready to date. Trust me, when you start dating just remember one thing, you probably aren't going to marry the first person you date, so don't start talking about marriage or kids or things like that to the person, it only scares them away...and take things slow...but really, it's up to you and your parents as to whether or not you can date...

I think you should date when you think it's time, don't rush into thing's, if your older then it will be easier to make your on desions, I am going to wait till I am nine teen, so when I am ready to get I can find someone and hopefully marry them.

if you feel that it's a right time for you to date then go for it...but be sure to do good in school..maybe you should ask your parents how they feel about this and see where it goes from there...

You should be able to date however old you are if you are mature enough. If you think you're ready to havea bf/gf it shouldn't really matter what age you are.
