I am married to a caretaker with a shovel. I find that if I shut him in the shed over-night and remind him that it's not big and not clever, I keep him in his rightful place.
Of course, one day he may rebel, then his friends and I may well bear the consequences........
Don't worry though, his closest friend is an estate agent, so he's bound to go for him first!!

I don't think so. I have a shovel and I wouldn't hurt a fly. . .course I'm not a caretaker either.

lol.....Not at all. One year for my brother's b-day who has passed we put a 6pack of Heineken's at his head stone. The next day when we came back they were gone. Of course we knew they wouldn't last long but it was funny to know that the caretakers had a little fun that day.

is he like a really good friend? you should get to know him better because caretakers all seem to be quiet and sorta spooky. Maybe you'll find that you like him...try and see!

Don't upset him. I had a friend who bought one of those old hearses (black, curtains, etc) he drove it around on Halloween with friends hanging out of it. (I have a shovel)
