No. The general rule is 1 year of alimony for every 3 years of marriage. It may differ a little, but a month isn't long enough for alimony. Sorry.
Yes alimony still exists. It's to help the spouse that stayed home to take care of the family, while the other spouse worked outside of the home. Not as a reward for divorce.
However palimony, support to the partner is case of a break up when they were never married is very rare. Most states have done away with common law marriages (when after so many years of living together,whether or not you were married by a judge, you were considered married anyway. It was usually 10 years). That's why.
