Its dangerous to look at celebrities as role models. They are human beings who are suseptible to the same faults as everyone else.

I would say someone like Jerry Lewis who has hosted Muscular Dystrophy Telethons for as long as I can remember.
Pricess Diana was another example, she used her status to raise peoples awareness of such things as landmines.
Former Pres. Jimmy Carter and his work with Habitat for Humanity.
But they don't make the headlines - instead we get Paris Hilton and Mr. Spears (K Fed) wanna be rapper.

Tyra Banks teaching about self esteem and body issues is like Oprah telling people how to get skinny. Tyra with her perfect body and million dollar smile! What does she know about that stuff???
See, it's all BS...Celebs only do what will make them money or shine a positive light on them selves to stroke their egos. They don't give a crap about you or any one.
None of them are worthy of role-model status. Look towards friends and relatives for inspiration, not some fake celeb!

I used to think Jessica Simpson was b/c she believed in celebacy but now she acts like a hoochie.
Susan Sarandon is great she is a big time philanthropist and a good person all around now that is someone you don't read about in the tabloids!!!

I THINK THE ROCK IS A GOOD ROLE MODEL BECAUSE HE IS SUCH A GREAT FAMILY MAN AND HE IS REALLY A NICE PERSON ON THE INSIDE AS WELL AS HOT ON THE OUTSIDE.
