Fund raising ideas?

I need to raise $5,000 yes $5,000. I was invited to go on a "People to people student ambasadors program" trip to Italy, France, and England. And thats the problem. The price. I need a way to raise atleast $2,500. Please if you have any good ideas post them. Or even better E-mail them to me at [e-mail] THX!

Congrats my friend was in people 2 people he went to Ireland England and somewere else then he went to the Austrailn area. Well i think you can start with a garage sale then for a fund raiser try just sponsering yourself or going to local business people and telling them what your doing and all. Then your church ask them if they could help. set up a bake sale or start selling candy at school. I use to buy allot of suckers and sell them. that's how i made money when i was younge. People love candy. and another thing you can do is around christmas time set up a gift wraping booth. were people pay you to wrap there gifts. like ask wal mart or what big local store near you if you can do that for your trip or just do it in the parking lot lol. There's actually a book, "Fundraising for Dummies" that I found at the Library... check into it. Surely there are surefire ways for you to raise the money you need. Most fundraising however is for non-profit organizations... your desire is not considered non-profit because YOU will profit from it.

If you want it that bad...start mowing peoples yards... Dont' fund raise..Earn It! It will be more rewarding...My garderner makes $20 per cut for a quick run over with the lawnmower... I think that man is richer than me!

do a raffle see if someone will donate th prize to it,, if you tell the people that donates the prize they get advertising etc
