I've noticed in North America most people are fairly carnivorous, and I've also noted that they tend to be more aggressive than in less meat-eating cultures, like India, Brazil or Egypt (I've lived in those three countries, as well).

I wonder if there is a correlation between the degree of aggressiveness in a culture and their consumption of meat. What do you think? [I guess this question is mostly aimed at people who have done a fair bit of traveling.]

Of the people I know, the vegetarians have a much calmer personality.
It is very apparent in the way they answer issues and respond to testy questions.

I once read a book by a woman who wrote that like the lion and tiger, when humans consume meat they are more likely to take on the temperament of such beasts than if they avoid meat.

Think about it, Lion or lamb--tiger or rabbit.

I dont think it has to do with meat consumption. Its just the type of society in whole.

Not always....people thing vegtarinans are peaceful, but ever heard of eco-terroists? They are terriosts that burn down animal factories and buildings that kill animals. Saving animals may be a good cause, but it is not worth killing a life.
