Valid questions, and seems to be alot of extremist views on things. Nuking someone doesnt make the problem go away. if we slap them with too hard of economic sanctions the regime will collapse and cause a world of problems for South Korea. So, if we nuked them... What would be the result?
MAJOR nuke fallout, thousands possibly millions of deaths, and no resoltuion to anything.

I say we slap them with sanctions, beef up the southern border, and strategicaly place air carriers around the peninsula. Try get the army to defect and overthrow the govt, hell it happened in Thailand. This is a very weak country. if faced with war most soldiers would simply throw down arms and walk to surrender. Just like in Iraq... BLEH! IRAQ... lets not go there yet.

Hope this helps

If KIM JOG would launch a defense nuke it would be at SEOUL and it would kill millions of people. He doesnt need a nuke to do that either. They could rain 10,000 mortar shells into Seoul within minutes of provocation.

I think about Iraq if we would have finished what we started the first time we went in there, our military would be home now. i know it sounds harsh but if we gives these countries like Iraq and N. Korea a break they take advantage of it.
