Kinda....if he were a hot woman hitting on 16 year old boys he would be a star and no one would be referring to the boys as 'children' but whatever.
I don't really think sending naughty emails is a great think for a Congressman to be doing and I think he was right to resign but that should be the end of the story as long as he didn't touch anyone under the age of consent, which is 16 in DC.

No. He was a US Congressman. He's been doing this since he got in to office 12 years ago. 435 Congressmen represent 300 million people. You'd think that those 435 would be among the best people we have. Apparently not.

I feel bad for him - he's a human being, not the manifestation of everything that's wrong with the world.

Not in the least. He put up a smoke screen, pretending to be protecting our children from pedophiles, while secretly being one himself. I feel badly for his victims and his family.
