If you have a single handle faucet (Peerless Brand) & it is leaking at the spout where the water comes out & the set screw is stripped & cracked & you can't get it out. Do you drill the set screw out or do you buy a new faucet?

Probably be easier in the long run to buy a new faucet. But, if you have a lot of time on your hands...............

You might have some luck drilling a small hole and using an EZ out that will fit firmly and tightly in the hole and try twisting it out in the ccw direction. However, I am finding it much easier an less time consuming to replace the faucet.

Replace the faucet.....if it's leaking, time to replace anyways. If it's not very old, try for warranty..Peerless is a reputable company.
