Both. They are different but both funny. If I had to choose one for all time creativity and ground breaking vision: South park hands down. And don't forget that often underrated gen, Futurama.

SOUTHPARK HANDS DOWN!!!! Quite possibly the funniest comedy ever. It certainly is giving Married with Children a run for it's money.
10 years later, still original and still awesome. How many other comedys are still that good after 10 years?

South Park!! Family Guy is OK, and I usually giggle a little bit, but South Park makes me laugh out loud just about every time I watch it.
How can you not laugh at Cartman and Kyle ripping on each other all the time? That's hilarious!

South Park. Family guy is good too, but if they took out the flash backs (that dont deal with the plot, mind you) there would be nothing humorous left.
