OK, maybe that's the largest mall, IN CANADA! The world record mall holder is in China. The mall is called Golden Resources Shopping Mall. It is by far the LARGEST mall in the world. It is 6.0 M sq. ft. (0.56 M sq. m) (M=million) Here is a list of the largest malls. Atleast the top 5.

West Edmonton Mall first opened its doors to the public on September 15, 1981. The mall has been expanded three times since its opening in 1981, with these additions completed in 1983 (Phase II), 1985 (Phase III) and 1999 (Phase IV). It was the largest indoor shopping centre in the world until 2004 (see History of Shopping Malls) and was put in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Beijing's Golden Resources Shopping Mall, opened in October 2004, is the world's largest, at 600,000 m² (approximately 6 million square feet).

NO WAY! although Canada is larger in size then America, it's way way smaller in population. there are about four times as many people in New York City then in the whole country of Canada, the largest, most populated city in the world is Tokyo, Japan, there are about 16 million people in that city, and I bet you a million bucks that the largest mall is in Tokyo.

Mall of America or the edmington mall in ontario with mind bender,notice both have indoor amusement parks!

i thought it was the Mall of America, in Minnesota. but like most lawyers...i must confuse the issue by saying that "it depends" :) are u speaking of size? number of vistors? i am sure that there may be another mall in the world that has "more people" who go to it. or even another mall that has more stores, but less space. who knows.
