I like SVU better. It is more lurid and shocking than CI, although that show has lots of bizarre stories as well. The present season of CI is looking very good, with the addition of the new captain and the new cinematographic touches. It is just that Detectives Stabler and Benson are so fascinating.

I like Criminal Intent better, because having been molested several times over my life, the episodes on SVU are sometimes too intense for me (although I do like the show). Plus, I love Goren. But I wish Deakins hadn't left the show.

If Eames and Goran are on Criminal Intent, then I prefer that, but if the 2 new actors Chris Noth and that new girl are on, then I prefer SVU.
I always like to watch Olivia and Elliott on SVU, but shes on maternity leave now.

Of the two, I prefer Criminal Intent
but I still think the original Law and Order is still the best :)
