The bill doesn't make it illegal for you to play for money online. It makes it illegal for banks to send money to poker sites and makes it illegal for the sites to accept "unlawful gambling."

Some sites have banned US players, some haven't You are still free to play. http://www.ultimatepokerbankroll.com/article.php/internet-gambling-ban-poker-sites-status will tell you which sites still allow Americans. If you love playing online poker DON'T STOP. Plenty of sites still let you play, don't let Bush and Frist boss you around!

I have included a link that will be of interest to you.

Basically, the bill has passed but not enacted until the president signs it into law.

What the bill said is that people living in the United States, can not use credit card, banks, or any form of money transfer (i.e. paypal or netteller) to be used for online gambling.

It does not mean you can not play online for money, it just means you can no longer put money into a gambling account using US fundings.

If you already have money in your account, those gambling websites will refund it to you, or they will let you play until it is back to zero. This however depends on the poker website and how they wish to accept US players.

I did hear about that. I honestly can't tell you more than this.

To the best of my knowledge, the bill has not been enacted into law yet. I think it will affect all online betting sites, including international. If I remember correctly, it has to do with not allowing use of a credit card to gamble, thus killing all on-line gaming sites, since this is their main means of support.

I hope I answered your question. Sorry, but that's all I know so far.

Good luck.
