I wonder if I should do the 15,000 miles maintenance for my 2004 camry or just do the 5,000 miles maintenance. The milage on my car just passed 15,000. Before, I did the 5,000 miles maintenance and the 10,000 miles maintenance. But this time, I hesitate because the prices are very different and it seems to me the only difference in the services is whether it includes "inspect air filter".

I drive less than 250 miles every week, mostly on the highway.

Thanks for your advice.

I use to work for a Toyota dealer and these service intervals are nothing much more than oil and lube job. They check belt hoses coolant protection air filter check brakes and normal wear items. Save you money take it to a quick lube and tell them to give you there best service.Unless you live were it it very hot don`t change transmission fluid but every 30000 miles. These service intervals are not much more than the dealer trying to keep the mechanics busy

You can skip it all you need to make sure is that you change the oil on time that is the most important thing to do on the vehicle!! The dealer will claim that they will check everything on that lists but they do not do it!! All it is is Business they will try to get money out of you some how!! Anyways Good luck!!

To get the max out of your car and to prolong the life of your car, I would recommend doing the 15,000 maintenance.
