Well, I have read your other questions, and from what i get you are talking about yourself. You have asked about being a surragte mother, so how about adoption. You are doing the same thing but you are the birthmother. There are open adoptions if wanted to keep in contact w/ the adoptive parents. You may browse through several biographies of potential parents ,interviews, and meetings w/ them so you who the child is going to. Adoption agencies have also been known to pay for medical and housing duing and after the birth. This is option that I think people overlook.
I have placed two children up for adoption and it was the best decision i could have ever made. i have no regrets , because I know they are happy and healthy, and have a much better life than what i could ever have given them.
i was a single mom w/ a son already when I made the decision both times. he knows and knows that it was a good decision cause he gets all the attention.lol.
The decision IS yours and do what is not only right for you but your daughter also.

When I decided to have my children it was because I was ready to have them. Not because it was the right thing to do. Regardless I would still have a child even now if I didn't have enough support, money or health. You should be ready to have a child regardless as it comes from you or spouse or boyfriend if you're together and both should share the responsiblites. Now if you plan not to support it, then I'd suggest adoptions as an option rather than abortion. Its not a solution, in fact you'll feel guilty as hell right after having it...it will remain with you regardless of what they will tell you. I've counselled enough young women, teenagers and women of all ages after having an abortion and regretting it or thinking if I should have had my child...she/he would be this age, or doing this ...etc etc. sorry if I offend you speaking this way but its the truth!

My partner would be the biggest role in my choice. The baby's father, and the role he will play would be the biggest factor.

You can always make more money, you can always find help in providing things for the child, but what about the emotional state of raising the child. If I was alone, no help from the father, that would affect my decision.

It is hard work to raise a child, and going it alone is even harder. Not all women should have to choose that struggle if they don't think they can do it. It's not about just being alive, it's about a life worth living. Also adoption.

It's a very personal decision. But I would consider the following:

1. My age and health
2. Whether or not I was married
3. Relationship with the father
4. Financial ability to support myself and my child, independent of the father (if we're not married), family and government
5. My personal stance on abortion
6. Circumstances surrounding the pregnancy (was it the result of a meaningless encounter? A rape? Failed contraception?)

Again, it's a very personal decision. My opinion is that having a child isn't the right thing to do if you're not able to support yourself emotionally or financially; if you're in an abusive relationship with the baby's father; if you are underage and don't have your family's support; if you're a victim of incest. There are other reasons, but those would be mine.

I believe that you always have options! If you were "old" enough to make the baby, you have to live with your decisions too!! I do not believe in abortion, there are MANY MANY people in this world, more than happy to raise that child for you through adoption! It is not fair to the innocent child, or the willing couples to abort the baby! Maybe the question should be, "if you thought you were ready to have sex, should you consider what would happen if you became pregnant, before you even do it"

It always works out no matter what happens. You always make do with what you have, hopefully you have a good family to help you out in situations, but there is always help financially if you need it somewhere with the state. Dont be selfish and give the baby up because you dont think its the right thing.

You have the child no matter what. It is a life that you have created, and if you are unable to take care of this child, you can do the most unselfish, loving thing, and that is to let a loving family adopt him/her. That is the choice you have to make. Wishing you peace and love...

it all depends upon the person...when i became pregnant, we were flat broke, but we managed...i would look at the financial position first, it seems to take alot of money to raise a child anymore...and yes your own health too...you should be healthy before you consider getting pregnant, like quitting smoking or other bad habits...
