It's the best sport to watch while drunk because you can yell at anyone you want and it's considered "part of the game".
It can be boring to watch while sober because of the long lapses in game play and it can be boring.

Baseball is the best because the crowds are uaully more relaxed and in a better mood. Football fans are so intense, basketball is too fast to relax, and the other sports aren't usually on TV.
I'm with you on the sober thing also - but I haven't been sober in 7 years. Not really - but a nice cold beer is always refreshing once and while.

because when you are sober, you realize how iddiodic it is that watching a sport based on hitting a ball with a stick is americas favorite past time
