Go to any software store and buy SUPER HOME PUNCH SUITE. They have all kind of versions but the one I have I can build a house from ground up, inside and out, landscaping the whole nine yards and yes it is 3-D. You'll love it, what are you doing setting there go get it, it's exactly what you are looking for. Good Luck

a cad software system but they are complicated to run you can get it done for free at 84 lumber just take the room dementions and the sizes of the thing in the room

yeah, cad software, such as Revit, but those cost around 500 +
you can use google skechtup as a free alternative.
