"The Departed" was one of the most incredible movies I've ever seen. It was absolutely amazing. This clown before me that said it wasn't good must not know what a good movie is. But it's not like "The Godfather". It's more like "Goodfellas", both of which are great movies ("The Godfather" trilogy is one of my all-time faves), but "Godfather" is about the internal struggles of one man (Michael Corleone), and how he attempts to run the family business. Yes, there's a ton of double-crossing and side-jumping, in "Godfather" but "Departed" is all about two individual double-crosses and two guys (Damon & Dicaprio) playing both sides. They don't run their respective organizations, but they are two people in the middle of both organizations. It's a great film. Scorsese's best in a long time, maybe ever.

It does not remind me of the Godfather. The Godfather is good; The Departed is not.
