Lyrics! Ever heard a song sung a capella (without music) that just touched you right down to your soul? Wow! I have. Gives my chills sometimes! Music is important and at times it can speak for itself but the right words sung in a beautiful sweet voice is the best music a soul can hear.

You can love a song with good music and simple lyrics just because it sounds so good. A song with good lyrics and terrible music is still really hard to listen to.

There are some songs that have great lyrics but so-so music and the other way around.
I enjoy music that has lyrics just as powerful as the music.

sometimes i can be really moved by a piece of music,
even though i don't understand the lyrics (say if it's in a foreign language or something).
