George Bush is an idiot and he doesn't care about finding Bin Laden, or we would have found him already. He was too busy looking for Saddam who had NOTHING to do with 9/11 but everything to do with his own personal interests. He has the American people connecting 9/11 with Iraq and for some reason they think it's about their "freedom".

NO! Not at all possible. Finding Bin Laden is crucial for him and for the republican party in the election!
The capture of Bin Laden..Dead or alive would also create more of an uproar in the terror network..causing the need for more troops!

I reckon as he is no threat at present and is low priority for elimination.
He was and still being protected by the Pakistani Government and US and UK can't prove it.
It's just a big game. Bin Ladens cash is supposed to be frozen, however I'm sure he paid the right people at the right time.
Maybe another member of the Bush family will get him in years to come the way George had to get Saddam when his dad failed.
To find bin laden should be a positive cos the troops will be needed for Iran soon!

First off, our having troops out there doesn't hinge on Bin Laden. You might've had a tough time convincing America of that BEFORE we went to war, but now everybody knows that our reasons for going were fraudulent, and we're just sort of stuck without a viable exit strategy. We can't leave OR stay without some fairly hideous consequences. If we got Bin Laden tomorrow, it wouldn't even really matter as far as our military presence goes.

Yes, I think it is very possible and very probable that G.W. Bush does not want to find Bin Laden.

Bin Laden is dead. Your cute "wag the dog" saying is dated as well as inappropriate.

When Afghan war started they had him in sights of armed pilot-less aircraft and didn't pull the trigger. They knew exactly where he was for years, but military said it would be to costly to take him out. I'm not arguing that point, because his paid body guards would have fought to the death. How many tapes has he released and they can't find him, so agree with point you are making.

I live in Canada and i think it's horrible that we are losing troops. Canada and the US have lost so many troops. I think he is scared for his country and we should get our people out of there right away!
