In the USA to be a pediatrician you usually have to earn an MD degree, so that means first a Bachelor's degree and then Medical School and then a residency. You will be in school until you are 28 or 30. Competition to get into medical school is tough, so you need to go to the best college you can get into, and then get top marks. You will have to take chemistry, physics, organic chemistry, calculus and a few other courses as prerequisities for applying to Med School.
This is a tough program. You have to be totally dedicated to it or you wont make it. But if it is your dream, go for it!!!
