It's not a question of age but more a question of are you both ready to commit for the rest of your lives. If there are any doubts then it is either not the right time or not the right person. However, I'm not saying that getting married at any age under 18 is OK.

Marriage age is 16 - legally. So I think if you are between 15 and 22 you would be considered to young to be married.

I am 21 and I have been married for 4 months and its great! Obviously I'm not an authority on long term marriage, but I think you'll know when you are ready. When I spoke to my boyfriend (now husband) about marriage, I used to cry. I wasnt ready for a long time. We dated (long-distance) for three years. By the time he proposed. I knew that I could imagine my life with him, forever.

I agree, under 21. You need to be an adult and living on your own for at least a year before you consider marriage.
