That is kind like asking how long does it take for tapioca pudding to go bad.. The flying sperm that is projected for the love banana will come to rest (due to gravity) somewhere, please don't try this at home... but when it comes in contact with air, the cells on the outside of the mass will Begin dying very quickly, the internal sperm cells will stay alive as long as the temperature remains warm and is not penetrated by the air. So it is safe to say the life expectancy of a sperm cell during a sexual mishap in the Arctic is shorter than in the tropics. Unless of course it is flash frozen for storage.

First of all, sperm dies out when it is exposed to the open air. Ejaculate fluid dries up fairly quickly and sperm cannot live in a non-moist environment.

Air dries sperm up. Sperm survives inside of the body because the temp. and environment is "just right."

not true... i heard it lives up to two days and even longer if refrigerated.
be logical... if it died when it hit air how would the sperm bank work? cuz they just "eject" into the cup then all of it is hitting air, still good, then they refrigerate it to make it last longer.

Not instantly. When the temperature of the semen drop a few degrees then the sperm will die.

essentially yes. that other person who said it could live outside the body for 24 hours - that may be true however it would have to be under specific circumstances - that is -kept at body temperature for one.

Not true, and if it is on ur or ur partner's hands and comes into contact with the vagina, u can get pregnant.
