It's normal Sweetie...you will find that before long everything hurts and you will become pretty uncomfortable. It is not wise to take any kind of sleep meds tho. If you are sure you "don't" have an urinary track infection...put a heating pad across your back. Maybe have a close family member or your B/F rub your feet...make him feel a part of the pregnancy....and let him know just how much you appreciate him for being there and doing that for you. And good for you to keep the baby....because it isn't the child's fault. That baby and you both deserve the best....God Bless you both. My daughter got pregnant when she was your age...and was planning on an abortion(I didn't approve),, but..it was her choice. She was too far along(thank God) and she gave us the most beautiful wonderful little boy.....and she has proclaimed so many times over and over....how glad she was that she didn't abort him. Her B/F left her high and dry the minute he found out she was pregnant. It broke her heart....but, that little guy has made up for all the pain. And it is the deadbeat's fault for not being able to share the enjoyment what we are proud to have. It is his great loss!! Once again....God bless you, the little one, your family and most likely a wonderful B/F.

What an amazing woman you are - I'm so pleased you have the love and support of your family and friends, and your boyfriend sounds perfect. I just know you will be able to get through everything together - you sound like a real strong person.
As for all the aches and pains and lack of sleep yeh its normal, and I'm sorry to say it gets worst. As well as the pillow thing (although I didnt do this - I often slept so far over on my side I was nearly on my stomache) try going for a soak in a bubble bath before bed. I spent loads of time in the bath - it really was soothing.
Good Luck and my thoughts are with you, your b/f and Terrance
Wishes n Dreams XxX

The pains are normal. Weight gains will put stress on your feet, and your back muscles need to hold up the weight you are developing in the front (that includes breasts).
As for your comments about what happened to you and that you are keeping the baby, thank you for your honesty. Unlike most people, I think you see that what happened is NOT the baby's fault, and therefore does not deserve to be punished for someone else's deeds. I'm sorry to hear of your plight, but keep doing what you believe is right (I think you're doing fine), every thing will turn out just great.
Bless you.

I am sooooo sorry about the ordeal you must have went through. Much respect to you for making the decision to keep your baby. I'm glad to hear that you have a great support system as well -- it's very rare.
Anyway, what you're experiencing is normal. I am 22 weeks as of 10/04 and my back is hurting and it's getting more uncomfortable for me as well. I'm feeling this and I haven't gained that much weight at all (7 lbs). My husband is constantly massaging my lower back.
Good luck, hun.

yes it is a very noraml sight but u are pregnant at a young age and that is a good thing that you are having a baby because he is appreciating what u gave to him and what he has so far you should just love him like u love this child. Forget that u were raped leave that behind if its by your new boyfriend raise the baby by yourself but if your new bf didn't rape you then forget it let him help raise the baby

It's completely normal. I'm 4 months along and already having trouble sleeping.
As for your situation. I too was raped and became pregnant with my first child. I had just turned 18 and was getting ready to start college. The guy that I met after my daughter was born calls my daughter his and takes complete responsibility for her. I respect your courage, as I know how hard it can be at sometimes. If you need to talk or anything at all please feel free to email me a1dermommy@yahoo.com.
Good Luck and Congratulations!

What you are feeling is perfectly normal. You will start sleeping less and less. The baby will start moving more and more. But it is worth every ache and pain. You are an incredible young woman to make the decision that you have. I believe you will be a wonderful mother and your son is a very lucky little boy. God Bless...

Ok don't sleep on your back. Sleep on your side, with a pillow between your knees. After I hit about 6-7 months I even propped my belly on a pillow(small one) for extra supprt. Good luck! And yes girl its so normal!LOL! I hurt EVERYWHERE at some point or another.Back, legs, feet, and eventually even my pelvic area ached! You'll be fine.

You need to ask the doctor this and see what he says. You need sleep.
I think it is wonderful that you are keeping the baby and sorry about the violence you went through. This baby is a part of you and that is all you need to think about. God Bless!

Bless you heart. Try and get a body pillow and lay on your side using it to support your belly. Also, swimming is relaxing as it takes the weight off evrything, evenif just for a short while.
Good luck to you, and I commend you for your strength. I send out good energy your way, for a happy and healthy future.
