I need help on this question. If c=5n so what range of values did you use for the number of people and the cost of the rental cost? And how did you select this ranges?

umm.. kinda confusing.. but as far as i understood it..
c stands for cost of rental..
5 is constant..
n is # of people / person..

so if there is only one person involved, c = 5 (1) = 5
if n = 2, c = 5 (2) = 10
if n = 3, c = 5 (3) = 15.... etc..

so all the answers can be divisible by 5 (five)...

how did you select the ranges??? = all the positive integers.. =)

well if n is the number of people
and 5 is the rent costs
example
5*10(say 10 people) =50
so c=50
when asking a question give all info, since we have no idea what your asking.

if n represents the number of items/people, then n can be greater than or equal to zero, that means that the value for c would also be greater than or equal to zero

c and n cannot = negative integers...There's no such thing as negative people or rental cost...
