could not be "read". Click of OK to terminate this program.

This happens when I close out my explorer window, each time. I always click ok...but why is coming up and is it hurting something or shall i just set fire to the damn computer and livewithout one? Help and thankssssssssssssss......G.

Assuming Windows XP SP2...
Another program or add-on to IE is probably causing this.

IE> Tools> Manage add-ons, disable add-ons one at a time to see if the
offender becomes obvious.

Next, turn on the Windows Firewall, from Control Panel or Security Center
and disable third-party programs (security and others) which might be
hooking into IE.

Or, there may be malware installed (adware, spyware, parasites, etc.)

It depends on what the application is that you're dealing with.
Try reinstalling it.

If it's Explorer, then you may have to reinstall Windows and all of your applications.
