Hi I just came back from my daughters 18 month check-up and I wanted to know what ya'll think about her growth and compare to other babies. Her weight is 24 lbs and height is 33 inches. I know what the doctor thinks but I would like to compare to other children.

sounds like she is growing fine...my son was smaller however...every child is different...does depend upon genes alot too...

my son was about 22 pounds at that time...he is 4 now, and only weighs 33 pounds...it worries me that he is that thin but the doctors keep telling me he will hit a growing spurt...

Sounds normal to me. That's about where my daughter was at that age. That's 50th percentile for weight and somewhere around 70th percentile for height, according to WHO standards for breastfed babies. I don't know where she would fall on a chart for formula-fed babies, if that's what she was, but it probably wouldn't be terribly different.

i have a 2 year old girl to and she is very small for her age. she is only 26 pounds and 34 in tall. so it sounds to me that your little girl is growing just fine.
