Adam C...give me a break.
If you DONT hate the yankees, you're not American.
It's perfectly ok to hate the yankees, their players, and the whole stinking organization.

Well, G.P.,
I'm not enjoying it all that much, but, my world ain't ruined by it either. I'm disappointed sure, I've been a Yankee fan for my whole life( and I have the baby pic with the Yankee cap on to prove it.....lol). We'll be back next year, I'm hoping that they will finally realize that pitching is the key.
For me, I'm a baseball fan first. Then a Yankee fan second. A true baseball fan enjoys great play at any level by any player.
Actually, think I enjoy watching a little league or high school game as much if not better than a major league game. My son and I got to catch one of the NCAA D2 playoff games that was held at the local single A minor league park, and we just loved it.
I guess that I really enjoy watching the game in it's most pure form. When you see a kid get a big hit, or make a great catch, the look in their eyes is priceless. When I get to teach a kid how to grip a 4-seamer and they see the success of striking out a side when they didn't know they had it in them is worth more than watching a million Giambi home-runs.
So please G.P., don't base your opinion of all Yankee fans on the cry babies that are posting here. Most of these idiots are only Yankee fans because the Yanks win alot. These same so called fans wouldn't even know about the Yankees of like 15 years ago, when they really sucked. The don't have the guts to be a Cubs fan, or a Royals fan, or a Brewers fan..or even like you to be a Tigers fan thru thick and thin...hell, most of them couldn't even tell you what a "Suicide Squeeze" is.
I hope all you Detroit fans get to watch the Tigers win the series. The true Tiger fan deserves it. It's been a long time.
As for me, I'm gonna sit back, chill out , drink a beer.....and watch some baseball.............

I for one, am loving every minute of this "How dare the Yankees lose!" fest. They have one of the best managers in the game and they seem to want his head on a platter simply because the prima donnas in that line up freaking choked. It's really funny to hear the same people who defended A-Rod all season now say what a waste of money he is as well.
I can't stand Yankee fans or their announcers...
Go Mets!!

I watched the game just so I could have the pleasure of seeing the possible Yankees loss, as I knew they were going to be out if they didn't win. I loved EVERY minute of it and was cheering when it ended. That big payroll didn't get them a big win...it got them the best and biggest loss for all those obnoxious Yankees fans who only cheer for their team when they're winning!

What kind of ball club stays afloat in a heated division race with the Red Sox (up to the second Boston Massacre) despite seemingly devastating injuries, acquires the best record in the major leagues, secures homefield advantage throughout the playoffs and goes into the postseason with their healthiest roster since April only to lose three games to one in a series with the young Tigers?
A team without starting pitching. With Hughes well on his way and some great arms on the free agent market this offseason (i.e. Zito and Schmidt), look for the Yankees to sacrifice offense for the all-important starting pitching.
If you're a Yankee hater, don't celebrate just yet: this was as close to a rebuilding year as the Bronx Bombers will be for a long time to come.

purpose issues exist. a million+a million=2. no remember your concept, this assertion remains genuine. Socially, there's a probable countless style of critiques and perspectives on each and every thing. some human beings do not purely like the thought a million+a million=2 and picture we ought to continuously all only settle for whilst sons and daughters answer math questions incorrect (using fact it is stunning of their eyes). this does not exchange fact, it only types society. So, each and every thing isn't a concept, yet each and every thing is problem to it.

They've still won 9 straight AL East pennants, however. How many pennants have the Tigers won in that time? Oh, that's right... none.
Hell, I'm not even a Yankees fan, I'm just sick of people talking bad about the Yankees. Hate George Steinbrennar all you want, but don't hate the city of New York or the Yankee players.
Don't hate because none of you can play the game.

Even though I'm not a Tigers fan (actually hope they get beat by the A's), any team that beats the Yanks (especially in Postseason) deserves a lot of credit!
Thanks Tigers!
