I don't see why not.
I have also heard that Jesus went to India during the years that the Bible doesn't mention. There is a big blank area of his life from the age of about 12 up until the age when he started his ministry, age 30, that leads to all sorts of interesting speculation. I think your adopted Dad is right.

All of mankind has an inborn instinctive awareness of The Creator... But there is no evidence that Jesus visited what came to be called the americas... those who moved eastward from The Holy Land were those who rejected God intirely. That is most likely why Paul was told by God not to take his ministry to the east Those lost ones then crossed into the Americas.
It is only the Lost and Deceived of Satan(LDS) who make the false claim that Jesus came to America before the Christian influence.
There was no one "native" American belief. There were many different "creator" stories among the North American Aborigines
btw... I am a native American, and if you were born here so are you.

No they did not know jesus finish . Do not follow certain wishful thinking the bible should be your guide . The apostles were instructed to go and spread the word to the whole World so that it can be saved . teach them what the disciples had seen in jesus and only then will everyone have been given the chance will the second coming commense . There is now a danger to include and mix modern beliefs with the historical aspects of christianity . Do not be a victim

being a Native American (Canadian), I've never heard of natives knowing Jesus - only that we were created by Nana bijou - Creator - the concept of Jesus came when Christianity arrived w/ the Europeans, and we being respectful people did not shun them...inevitably the force became what our society came to fear as the residential school system - today - we blend our lives w/ the good ness of the message, not the brutality which once came w/ it, in this we hold our dignity and our respect.
the second part of your question is confusing...please clarify --thx

there have been no community individuals residing in what may be the u . s . a . 2000 years in the past. If Christianity have been the genuine faith, does no longer you assume societies remoted from the middle east to have comparable myths and ideology on your guy or woman? No how would desire to they in the event that they in no way heard the message and are remoted with out touch of the outdoors international. does no longer you assume that Jesus (or somebody comparable) would have come down and informed the Aztecs, Incas, Mayans, and so on approximately Christianity? no longer in the event that they did no longer exist 2000 years in the past rather, their first touch with Jesus message consisted of a brutal genocide on the palms of Christian Conquistadors? the Conquistadors have been in basic terms christian in call as their greed for gold and the homicide they did confirmed. They weren't christian. they did no longer carry the message of Jesus, that's no longer ideal. They introduced their very own message of death and destruction.

No. There's absolutely no mentioning of Jesus in any Native American myths/legends. And if he did, for some reason, visit North America, why not South America, Africa, Australia, and everywhere else?

Aztecs also had predictions concerning bearded white men. They arrived in the form of Spanish mercenary riff-raff who destroyed their culture, stole their land, and forced them into christianity. The same story applied to the Inca nation, robbed, shot, cheated, tortured , and destroyed. This applied also to the native Americans, who were possibly recalling folk memories of earlier visitors to their shores, bearded men, tall, strong, and fearsome, Norsemen most likely. The concept of native Americans having an awareness of Jesus is pure nonsense, the only awareness they had of Christianity was that it destroyed them!!

NATIVE NATIONS BELIEVED IN THE CREATOR, MOTHER EARTH, FATHER SKY, THE GODS, LORDS, A HIGHER POWER...BUT JESUS, NO.
JESUS IS OF THE "WHITE MANS RELIGION".
OUR ANCESTORS WERE FORCED TO LEARN AND FOLLOW "THE WHITE MANS" RELIGION, IF WE SPOKE OF OUR OWN BELIEFS, OUR TONGUES, HANDS, FEET, HAIR WAS CUT OFF.
NATIVES ARE A VERY SPIRITUAL PEOPLE.
NOWADAYS, RELIGION, JUST AS IN ANY OTHER ETHNIC GROUP, IS DIVERSE...IT REALLY DEPENDS ON THE UP-BRINGING OF A PARTICULAR FAMILY.
IN SHORT, JESUS WAS NOT A PART OF ANY NATIVE NATION'S BELIEFS, UNTIL THE WHITE MEN ARRIVED.

Just because the Jews that started Christianity wrote it down, doesn't mean they were the only ones to experience God.
