Okay time to grow up and GET IT. we teach our little girls that love and marriage is where its at...they think someone is coming to rescue them. WE teach our little boys they can be anything and do anything....soooo, For girls marriage sounds like some kind of heaven but to boys it just sounds like responsibility that is getting in the way of their lives......Funny thing, statics overwhelmingly show that when they DO get married the reverse is often true: men amazingly find they are quite happy, but women realize the realty of the situation doesn't hold up to their fantasies and thus can get bored , depressed etc.
What to do what to do.....WOMEN Grow UP! No one is coming to rescue you. Learn to participate in the great adventure called life...in short develop your talents is the path to your happiness. MEN realize you can be happy in a loving relationship.
Women if you still think someone will come to rescue you, check out Debbie Ford on hayhouseradio.com. Really, you are only making yourself miserable with that kind of thinking.

Because a little girl can grow up, marry a Prince, and thereby become a Princess. Doesn't work for boys. If a little boy grows up and marries a Princess, the best he is likely to get is a Dukedom. You can't become a Prince unless you marry a Queen, like Albert did when he married Victoria. Best way to become a Prince is to be born one.

very observant of you. Girls also plan for their wedding at an early age. Boys like digging tunnels girls not so much, oh you ask y, well not being a girl I have not the foggyest, and why not is pretty easy it is cuz we want to skip right to King to ell with these intermediate steps. We want LIGHTENING FINGER and we want it now.
wait I think I may have it. Girls want to be loved and everybody loves princesses and boys want respect and nobody respects a prince.

Because society encourages girls to be "princesses" and boys to be.....basically aggressive and into fighting. I wish this would stop. We need to teach children to be a little more androgynous - to have the good characteristics of both girls and boys, and to not have the bad characteristics that girls and boys often have. A person should not go around thinking he/she is a princess, or a ninja warrior who can beat up everyone. Neither is healthy.

Because all little boys are already princes. Or serial killers in training. Kind of hard to tell the difference.

I think it is a genetic imprint. My aunt Jennie, in the 1920's, wanted to be a princess when she was five or six. . That was way before Disney. She took strips of Xmas tree "icicles" made of a sort of aluminum paper, and wove them into crowns and sparkly gowns. Lucille

little boys are smart enough to figure out that being king is better than being a prince so they try to skip a stage.

That is a good question, but I think they would rather be knights because princes are romanticized in society making them femminine.

Because girls are emotional, and boys are physical, so he might wnt to be a prince with a sword, or a gun, but in general, thats how it is
