I would say definately shoot for the right or left high corners. However, if you have a really good shot and you really think you can make the five hole do that. And don't get me wrong the best place to shoot has a lot of other factors to. E-mail me for more at abrink10@yahoo.com.

I would say the 5 hole. If you can nail the 5 hole than you should be able to hit the corners with no problem making scoring on a goalie that much easier.

I'd say the top right or top left because many goalies I've seen seem to have trouble with the high shots.

On a breakaway the best thing to do is to make the goaltender react first. Get close on him, once he commits you do the opposite. He goes down, you deke or you shoot high. Pay attention in NHL games and you'll see how it's done. When shooting it depends on the goaltender but after a while you'll see were he's vulnerable.

i don't think that there is a better place to shoot at the goalie on a breakaway, just make sure that the goalie make the first move so you can go on a different turn.........not that i'm a Gretzky but i heard Crosby say that on an interview.....

It's gotta be top left or right. More and more goaltenders are using the butterfly technique which causes them to react by dropping down. Ummm....you don't play for the Leaf's by chance, do you? LOL.

it really depends on the netminder. Do they have a good glove hand? can they butterfly? My all time best shot always was glove hand top shelf where Momma hides the maple syrup

if you can lift the puck, go HIGH STICK SIDE. I agree with alot of others though, deke the goalie first.. make them make the first move. then lift it over the sprawling netminder.
