try this (it really does work! :D)

before u go to bed, before (or after) u brush ur teeth, drink a glass of Hot Water w/ some honey and cinnamon.. i believe it's 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1/3 tablespoon of cinnamon. anyways, the honey kills bacteria, and cinammon freshens breath.

in the morning when u wake up, after u brush ur teeth, drink a glass of same thing.

i think u'll notice in the morning that ur breath is not smelly! :)

also brush ur teeth at least twice a day, and brush ur tongue

brush, rinse and floss. It also helps to brush your tongue daily. If you drink more water it is good too because than it will wash down the food that is stuck in the back of your mouth or in your teeth. When that food rots that is usually when you get bad breath. But it also could be halitosis. Than you would need to see a doctor.

Floss, brush your teeth and your tongue (as far back as you can), gargle with Listerine. They say that sometimes bad breath comes from having dry mouth, so keep gum or Certs on your in case your mouth is having a "not so fresh feeling".

Good luck - it can be embarassing, but it is preventable.

I brush my teeth at least 2-3 times a day plus floss and i understand parsley helps if you are on a date so to speak. Maybe gum or mints?

All of these answers suggest that bad breath is created in your mouth, but it comes from your stomach, where you have garlic and onions fermenting. Brushing your teeth doesn't do anything.

What you do is first thing you do in the morning is brush your teeth. Then after you eat brush them. Chew gum and eat mints all day and you should be fine.

Yes, brush your tongue. But you need to get way to the back of it, as that is where all the problem starts. You can ask your dentist, if you have one what else he may recommend you do.
