I got pregnant at 17 and had my son my senior year at 18 and graduated high school with honors, just keep focused on the goals you had set before you got pregnant and follow through with them, you will just have to make some adjustments is all, it is not going to be easy, but if you get a good education then you can get a good job and you will be able to support your new family I had lots of support from my family, I hope you have the same support system behind you good luck and congrats

What can a 17 yr old do with a baby??? I m 18 and im not pregnant, Whats the point??? wait until your ready. I work at babys r us, and Teens come in all the time, barely being able to afford for the baby...!! as to a mature person who waited ...will be able to support the baby ..as to where your mommy and daddy have to be the mom and dad for your baby, becuase they gonna be buying all the ****. Not you. It is expensive to have a baby. This including the Medical Bills also. Then if you wanna go to school, girl you gotta think about CHILDCare. and everything else. I dont know how in the hell i would make it thru college with a KID> i just started 3 months ago and its kickin my butt with out having a kid. Most studnets end up droppin out having to find a full time job to support the baby.and the daddys run off. maybe hes with you now but wait until that baby comes. Guys are scared, of marriage and preg. And how old is he?now he is gonna have to start working full time JUST to suport that baby. NOT U OR HIM. But a Baby. I think its dumb to have a baby right now. I havent heard you mentio MARRIAGE> WHAT ABOUT marriage. i thought that was suppose to come first. ....!!! And last but not least...what about when you want to have another...do you want your baby to have hand me downs. Me I personal want each child to be equally, and they get brand new clothes, and such and such. I will be able to support the secound child with out any concerns.

I was 17 years old when I got pregnant and I was 5 months pregnant when I graduated and I just had my daughter on the 3rd and when I looked at her everything that i wasnt going to be able to do was not a factor because looking in her eyes made me melt. I was going to college right after school too, now it'll just take a while longer.

Finish school and further your education. It might take a bit longer to finish college tho. Glad you two are still together and hope you two stay that way. This child is going to need both parents in the picture. good luck!

I had my first child at 18. He is now a year old and I have graduated high school and I am now attending college. It is ALL possible to do. Do not let the child overwhelm you, though. It will take a lot of hard work.
Good luck with everything!

Make no mistake, things will be harder for you but you will make it! Don't quit school. No matter how tired or howe much he loves you, stay in school. No one can take your education away from you and a man can leave you any time.

If you have supports from the father, you can do it! If not and you have support from family, you can still do it! Consider all parties concerned. i counsel teens daily. If you would like to, you may contact me personally. I am not licensed, but I am experienced.
