get a new team mate???? It isnt as if Michael Waltrip is doing anything at all to help him when he needs it. I think they need a different driver who can keep with J.R. just like other drivers do.

Michael Waltrip hasn't been racing for DEI for over a year now.
Martin Truex Jr, who is a rookie, and Paul Menard are Dale Jr's teammates. Paul is still in the Busch series but will be coming up to the Cup series next year as a rookie and will be running for the Rookie Of The Year title in 2007. Martin drives the #1 car and Paul drives the #11 Menards car in the Busch series but he will be driving the #15 car next year in the Cup series!
Martin Truex Jr is a rookie right now and he's still getting used to being in the Cup series so I don't think that he can help Dale Jr so much right now. Paul is running a limited schedule in the Cup series as he will be trying to get the Rookie Of The Year title in 2007 so he won't be able to help Dale Jr either.
But next season they better watch out...CAUSE DEI IS BACK BABY!!

Waltrip is not Dale Jr's team mate anymore and has been for awhile now.

waltrip drives the 55 not the 15 anymore, jr does have team mate that try to work with him but their cars are totaly diffrent from each other. thats why he works with tony when he can.

just so you know michael waltrip is no longer dale jr's teammate at the end of this year. he is going to do toyota racing team

Um, Michael doesn't drive for DEI anymore. The only teammate Jr. has now is rookie Martin Truex Jr.

well, i think dale jr is not that great of a driver anyway. He is never going to be as good as his father. I think he is over rated. If they didn't have restrictor plate races, i think dale jr would have about 4 or 5 career wins. That is the only thing saving him
