I like NightCrawler's teleportation and climbing powers so I would have to say I pick his.

I have to say that Wolverine is the best character. Its because of his fast healing ability, swiftness and agility. Nightcrawler rocks too though cause he can teleport and he is a master swordsman with both hands and his tail.

I would love to have Jean Grey-Summers' power of telekinesis and telepathy. She is (well, was, but who knows?) one of the strongest mutants on earth. She can defeat anyone with just a thought. It would also be cool to have the unlimited power supplied to her by the Phoenix Force, maybe even go Dark once and a while, just no eatting a star and destroying an entire solar system. That wouldn't be cool.

If I was cheating I'd pick one of the 'copy cat' characters that have all the X-men powers.
However if it was just one I'd say Wolverine.
I don't expect to be battling any major villains in my life and truthfully regeneration and being young and healthy for a couple of centuries sounds like fun!

I'd choose either Rogue or Mystic. Rogue can take on any other power but it sucks that she can't touch anyone. Mystic can take on any human form, but she's blue.
Or shunning the movies completely I'd pick Emma Frost. She's telepathic, smart, and tough.

The X-Men are not really all that powerful.
If I HAD to choose, like if my life depended on it, I would have to go for the villains the X-Men face. Now THEY are powerful:
Mister Sinister
Apocalypse
Magneto
Shadow King
Nimrod/Bastion
Dark Phoenix
... to name a few.

I would opt for Jean Gray's telekinetic powers because her powers have almost unlimited potential. She can build upon her skill and to be able to manipulate people and objects in motion would be a useful power indeed :-)

Angel's flight would be the best. He could fly fast (ok maybe not superfast). He could do any bird flying abilities. He could float like a humming bird, dive like a falcon soar, high like an eagle.

IF I have to go with anybody I'm going with cannoball. He is a character in the X universe so he counts. Besides, there are billions of X-Men. Cannonball is basically indestructable, plus he can fly. Booyah, how fun would that be.
