Staying in Arkansas for a few weeks and it seems pretty depressing around Little Rock and the drivers are horrible. But are there any good rivers, creeks, or small lakes to fish in this state that aren't crowded all the time? Just looking to get away while I'm here.

Go on-line and look for area lakes and recreation....you've got the Buffalo.....and there's another not too far from you and darned if I can remember the name..........plus the Arkansas or Red River is just off of I-440 or I430 it's been a while since I lived there.

The Little crimson River in Arkansas holds the international checklist for Brown trout at 40 lbs. it is frequently fly fishing by way of fact the water is crystal sparkling till you get some rain. some persons there use a spinning outfit with flies too although with sparkling floats. it is a great fishery and for the dimensions of fish it may't be matched !!
