It has to be cats, they are such a comfort, and they are affectionate, and they can sense when you need to be left alone. They are highly intelligent. And if you don't think that is evidence enough that they are the BEST, watch the movies "Garfield" and "Cats and Dogs"
I have just fostered a little kitten that was hiding in the trolley bay of a local store, it had been in the engine of a car that stopped at the shop and had ran under the trolleys when freed. He was there for quite a few days before we could get him out. he had a fractured jaw, ear mites, worms and an eye infection to name but a few things. You should see him now 12 days later, he is the cutest little man you could lay eyes on. He is ginger and white in color and he is just coming into his own personality wise. He is a beautiful.
