Bacterial lytic destroys the membrane of the bacteria causing lysis to occur. Literally they burst.

Bacterial static basically put the bacteria into a kind of stasis. They don't undergo meiosis.

Bacterial cidal kills them dead.

lytics - cause the bacterial cells to undergo lysis eg- Penicillins

Static- they interfere with multiplication of bacteria, eg- Sulfonamides

cidal-these kill the bacteria eg- Cotrimoxazole
