Our only allies in Iraq are UK and Canada.
In NKorea, we would get South Korea, Japan (although they don't have an offensive army), UK, and Canada.

Why didn't Bush lie his way into NK?

To be perfectly honest, most of the world figures you shouldn't be in Iraq either including over 80% of the Iraqis.

The answer is a resounding NO.

And take it from a Canadian.......there are no Canadian troops in Iraq. You must be confusing us with the Australians.

wow...they really have tested a nuke...it might be some time before they can deliver a rocket, but it will come. That Kim must be the stupidest guy on the planet. The Japanese are pissed, and now there is a Japanese head of the UN...it will be interesting.

I don't think we could enter a land a ground war in Korea...even bombing their stuff would be very risky. But, it a few years time...after they've tested more and more missiles and finally get it working, Japan might be the one who pushes for something or just does something out of self preservation.

I think that nothing will really be done other than embargo, but if they threaten Japan with nukes (even if we shoot them out of the sky) North Korea's capital will disappear.

P.S. Japan is probably the most technolgical country in the world...expect them to work on defence like they have protected their buildings from earthquakes.

I don't think even Bush wants trouble there...I wish we had a decent secretary of state

Funny thing is that Kim Il Jong was spouting all sorts of crazy stuff when we went into Afghanistan and Iraq. And we didn't do anything then.

Most of our trouble came from Saudi Arabia and lived in Iran. We listed Iran in the Axis of Evil, but nothing was done there.

We are so inconsistent that it's painful. And now Afghanistan is resorting back to the Taliban's control. And Iraqi insurgents have not been tamed. Yet even as a peaceloving Democrat, I think we should stay in Iraq and Afghanistan and see those countries rebuilt. And sanction the hell out of N. Korea.

Let's gain some friends by 'siding' with the rest of the world against Kim! (and then let them fight it!)

Bush wouldn't even have to lie to have a war with the NK. They really are building a nuclear arsenal!

Not part of his original pack of lies and trying to add another lie to the agenda wouldn't be prudent at this time. I'm thinking that he's gonna carpet bomb them using the example of the Israeli attack against Lebannon as his guide. A draft and an invasion are oblique alternatives.

Why did Clinton give the North Koreans 2 Nuclear Reactors?

Is this how dems deal with the axis of evil? appeasement? then when its a republican in office demand why he didnt do enough?

Dems Armed the Axis of Evil

under the Gore Chernomyrdin Act, gore let russia give Iran 2 reactors, a ten year supply of uranium, kilo class subs and SU 27 fighters... Why did the Dems arm our enemies? then complain the republicans havent done enough? would dems be happy if we gave them reactors also?

The era of appeasement is over. Dems appease terror, Republicans deal with it.

Clinton allowed North Korea to go nuclear...
North Korea is presently contained...
We need to break up the Islamofaschist strongholds first, starting
with Iraq & Afghanistan...
First things first...
WW3 is coming..
We can fight it over here or over there...
I choose over there...
