In the first few months of pregnancy you need alot more sleep... Think about all the construction that is going on inside of you... You are building an entire person in only 9 months of course your body is going to need extra rest because of the extra work it is doing....
You should notice a bit more vigor in another 4-5 weeks as the baby construction lessens then... All the babys major body systems are in place, just needing to mature and the strain on your bodys resourses lessens... Until then listen to your body get the rest it is telling you it needs... Housework etc. can wait you need to do whats best for your body now and your body is telling you it needs extra rest...
Talk to your ob/gyn about getting prenatal vitamins and about yur bodys apparent need for extra rest... He/she will tell you it's quite normal for you to need extra rest and to listen to your body it's telling you what it needs...

sure, it is extremely uncomplicated for pregnant women human beings to experience sleepy and, in the event that they are able, to sleep lots. it truly is quite real early on, interior the 1st trimester. maximum women human beings experience extra alert interior the 2nd trimester. some experience sleepy back interior the 0.33. having suggested that, it would be no longer something like 18 hours an afternoon. That lots could probably be reason for subject. i could say that i could get approximately 8 or 9 hours a evening and then around 3 PM could choose a nap of 30-ninety minutes.

I am only 8 weeks pregnant and i am the same way I seem to shut down at 7 o'clock- I was the same way with my last pregnancy
The best advice is to take naps during the day and try to get exercise

Get your rest. You are most tired from 9 weeks to 16, for me at least. It was like one permanent nap. Soon you will feel energenic again and be fine. But watch out, the tiredness comes back at teh end of the pregnancy. Good luck!

Nothing... don't fight it. The first trimester is when you get really tired. If you really need to stay up, try doing housework or taking a shower to keep you up and busy. Otherwise, get the sleep now... cause god knows you'll be wishing for moments like this after the baby arrives.

Sleep. You're buliding a human being from scratch. Give yourself a break and rest. Your energy is beiing needed elsewhere. Also remember it's temporary. Sleep now, b/c you'll regret it when the baby is born and doesn't let you!! ;o)

all you can do is try to keep your eyes open your pregnant and all your going to want to do is sleep so theres nothing more you can do so enjoy the time you do sleep because as soon as the baby comes your not going to be getting any or if you do an hour or two

Sleep, sweetie. We pregnant ladies need it. Get it now, while you still can. I'm 32 weeks now and I am up all night when all I really want to do is sleep.
