bad brake pads, or a warped rotor

The front disc brake rotors are warped from excess heat build up if you make hard stops a lot this will cause the brake rotors to warp luckily most parts houses stock aftermarket rotors for a pretty cheap price 30 bucks or so ! You might as well change the pads if they are worn if not should be good to go with a rotor swap, but be prepared for a little brake squeak!

Often this means that you have grooved discs or warping in your rotor, assuming you have front disc brakes. This usually begins to occur at high speed and then, as the brakes become more and more damaged, the steering will "shudder" at lower and lower speeds. You should have a mechanic decide which parts of the brake to replace.

Hondas are well known for this.
The rotors warp because they were too small to begin with.
My wife had a honda and whenever we would go to the mountains, coming home would warp the rotors. If you turn them, it makes them thinner and they warp that much faster. Get new ones and don't brake so hard. If you live in a hilly area, there are scores of aftermarket brakes.

Warped rotors, take it to a Honda dealership or independent. If the runout is too much, they will have to replace the rotors and pads. If it is within spec, they will cut the rotors and replace the pads. Using Honda OEM parts are crucial, I get customers in everyday with problems due to not using OEM parts.

Warped rotors, possibly, but you would likely feel a pulsation in the brake pedal. Your front end needs checking as well as your brakes. There may be a loose or worn ball joint or control arm.

That could be a result in your brakes worn down to the metal and your rotors are getting the vibration for it. Take it in or examine it your self to see if you need brakes or rotors.

the only reason for this is excessive runout. or wobble in your front rotors....if your pads have pleanty of meat left on them then all u need to do is either take the rotors to a machine shope and have them turned or take it to a shop and let them turn them on the car...its truley better to turn them onthe car
